I unveiled my We Are Camping project at Port Eliot festival this year, 23rd-25 July. The event took place on Sunday 25 July in the camping field at 2pm.
I am a big fan of the Port Eliot festival, being their very first paid customer way back when. I have been researching We Are Camping for a year now. For the event, I lead festival goers through the campsite while talking about the meaning and history of camping.
Hi Matt, I meant to say thanks for the offer of the Idler. Don’t worry I’ll go online and buy one. Is it available yet? And what’s the issue number?

The Idler issue is Back to the Land.

I intend to expand on my essay on the Kibbo Kift if my book proposal is taken up by publishers, so I would love to visit you and interview you about your memories of them.

Hi Math, Thanks for your reply. I’d be happy to meet and talk about the Kindred, camping and other things. I’ll be around except for the last week of Aug when I’ll be at an educational camp near Glastonbury liviong in my yurpee, cross between a yurt and a teepee. Olivia Plender has been in touch and will be coming to see me sometime in September too. Meanwhile work on my website is proceding and the KK foundation have asked whether I’m interested in taking on their website too. I was also wondering whether to try the Port Eliot Festival this year ,it sounds good.
Yours with every good wish, Jon

Roughly speaking, as this is a public forum, where are you based? Depending on location, I’ll be able to moot some possible dates for the interview.
Your educational camp sounds intriguing.
What is the website you are building?
